Cozyfilms is a chain of theatres across Chennai, India. They offer their customers to check a list of current and upcoming movies and watch trailers. Customers can also book tickets for a show and buy food online from their comfort of home.

The Problem
Available movie ticket booking platform has limited features and functionality
The Goal
Design a website for Cozyfilms that allows users to check movies, trailers, provide enough information about the theatre so that they can make and informed decision while booking tickets online.
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs and responsive design.
My responsibilities
Understanding the user
I conducted user interviews which I turned into empathy maps to better understand to target user and their needs. I discovered that many targets user booking opening timing of the upcoming movie. Many times they couldn't get ticket at desired screen or seat because of this. Many website does not provide enough information so that they cab get an idea of when the reservation of the movie starts.
Here are some highlights of these interviews.

I don't know when the reservation of a movie is opening. Sometimes all the tickets would be booked while I'm checking for tickets.
I like the idea when I can see the rating of the movie while booking tickets.

This app allows the user to check the screen specs before the seat selection and also helps the user to check for accessibility parking, distance to theatre.

User Feedback
I used the prototype to conduct with 5 users in target demographics and came up with the key insights. The testing has been done using the maze software.
Key Insights
The screen specification should be more detailed.
On the onboarding screens many participants were confused whether they had to tap or swipe in the mobile design in order to get to the next screen. I had to ensure that both gestures are incorporated into the prototype.
